Description of Committee-Throughout the year we
have a need for food service at competitions, fundraising events, bake sales, or
just providing a treat for students after a game or competition.
Students...are you a Vegan
or Vegetarian ?
Please let us know asap so we can plan ahead for meals this season.

HELP !!
The food
committee is in need of any large
plastic containers with lids that you no longer need. (Rubbermaid
type) We use these for storage, and
food preparation and the ones we have are not feeling so well. The
same can be said for our ice chests, they all have one thing or another
wrong, and need replacing. To keep costs down, we would like to try
donations first. Please let me know what you have, and I will be happy to
pick them up.
Volunteers are also needed for
the upcoming events; please contact me if you would like to help feed our
kids!
Band Uniforms

Description of Committee-Assigns uniforms,
maintains uniforms, checks out and in uniforms before and after
games/competitions, helps organize uniform room.
Band Equipment/Props
Building/Maintenance/Repair/Transport/Loading

Description of Committee - Prop/equipment building,
maintenance, painting, and general repair, assist our truck
driver in loading and unloading of band props and equipment, transportation, and
setup at football, games, concerts and competitions.

information out quickly to parents and collect data for leadership.

of three (3) voting members (excluding officers) once a year to audit all
accounts in July, to be completed by the regular meeting
in August. This committee may
be called by the voting membership to do an additional audit at any time.

to students at performances, games, competitions, and practice sessions if

for Parent/Student use and items to be sold at Fundraising Events.

Description of Committee-Searching for and
applying for grants for McQ Band and/or McQ Band Parents Association.
PARENTS Does your employer have a
Grant Program? They might...and if they do McQueen Band could
benefit! It is a fact that UPS, Wal-Mart, and many, many other
companies offer grants to organizations in need. PLEASE check it
out today and let our Grant Committee know ASAP!
We
are encouraging everyone to
become a 2008/2009 Member of the McQueen Band Parents Association. Becoming a member does not obligate you to anything. It only ensures that
you are supporting a very worthwhile organization. The annual fee is
$10.00 per year per person or $15.00 per household. This covers the cost of the postage and paper for the monthly
newsletter.
